"VISHVAMBHARA" A Peer-Reviewed and Refereed Research Journal operated by "HINDI VISHVA BHARATI"

The quarterly research journal “Vishvambhara” was founded in 1961 under the auspices of Hindi Vishva Bharati, Bikaner, and received official registration in 1965 (No. 10251/61). Since its beginning, the journal has served as a platform for scholarly dialogue and research in history, literature, culture, and social sciences. Despite limited financial means, Vishvambhara has maintained high academic standards and continues to publish quality research papers by eminent scholars from across India. Over the years, it has released several special issues dedicated to distinguished personalities such as Pt. Vishweshwarnath Reu, Dr. Dashrath Sharma, Dr. Manohar Sharma, and Dr. Girija Shankar Sharma, which have been highly valued in academic circles.

The earlier volumes of Vishvambhara, preserved at Hindi Vishva Bharati, Nagari Bhandar, Bikaner, contain significant articles on the economic, social, religious, and cultural aspects of Indian history. The journal also documents literary events, seminars, and cultural programs held by the institution, enriching it with authentic research material and photographic archives. Under the editorial guidance of Pt. Vidyadhar Shastri, Dr. Diwakar Sharma, the current Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Girija Shankar Sharma, and Editor Dr. Rajender Kumar Vishvambhara, the journal continues to uphold its tradition of excellence and remains one of India’s most respected and enduring research journals.

Vishvambhara, a prestigious quarterly research journal of the Faculty of Social Sciences, began publication in 1961 and has since carved out a unique niche for itself in the research world through its continuous publication. With the first issue (January-March 2024), marking its 64th year of publication, the journal has emerged in a completely new format, with a new ambiance, layout, design, and presentation of excellent quality.
